Service Division: Cross Platform Engineering Team.
The Service Department provides pre-sales and post-sales support on all products sold by Digitec. Support includes Workshop and Onsite Repairs and Installations. Customers with an SLA are given the highest priority. Support includes Phone, Remote Access and Onsite if the problem can not be rectified by other means.
We have Vendor Trained & Certified Engineers which includes Microsoft, Novell, Citrix, IBM, HP, Cisco, VMware, Apple & Toshiba.
Our “Cross Platform” (PC/MAC) skill set is unique. There is simply no other service provider in our region that has the Cross Platform skills that we have developed.
Our Microsoft Certified Engineers are highly experienced in configuring and troubleshooting multi server networks which may include Exchange Server, SQL, Antivirus, VPN and Backup.
Digitec provides onsite and in-house Hardware Repair Services on Servers, PCs, Laptops, POS Equipment and Laser Printers for all Major Brands.
Our Engineers adhere to an strict anti-static / ESD control policy when working on any Hardware that is susceptible to damage via Electro Static Discharge. All the work benches are equipped with antistatic mats, the Engineers always discharge themselves before working with any Equipment and wear an anti static wrist band at all times unless working on high voltage component.
Digitec is also an Authorised Service Centre for Toshiba Laptops and on selected lines of Point Of Sale Equipment for NCR. We carry out all Warranty Repairs in-house for the above Vendors with the support of their Respective Engineers if required.
Our Engineers are highly trained and collectively hold over 50 years of experience. They have attended several technical training sessions organised by the Respective Vendors and hold many industry related Certifications.
